Tobacco Use Prohibited on School Grounds
Due to legislation that went into effect in Iowa on July 1st, smoking is now prohibited in most indoor and outdoor public areas including on school grounds. The Jefferson-Scranton CSD Board of Education has passed a policy that also makes the school grounds tobacco free. With football just around the corner, the Jefferson-Scranton School would like to remind everyone that smoking and the use of tobacco products is not allowed on the school grounds. This also includes the school parking lots and in personal vehicles parked in the school parking lots.
The Jefferson-Scranton School would like to thank everyone for complying with the new no-smoking law and the tobacco free board policy. Contact Info: Tim Christensen tchristensen@jscsd.org
