U.S. Cellular Contest

I would like to say thank you to everyone that has been a part of the U.S. Cellular “Calling All Communities” campaign. I want to thank you if you voted in the campaign and I want to especially thank you if you worked to solicit votes as a part of the campaign. In particular, I would like to thank the employees of Jefferson Telephone. They have worked tirelessly to promote U.S. Cellular, the Jefferson-Scranton Elementary School and the “Calling All Communities” campaign. I would also like to thank Ben Franklin/Radio Shack for their efforts. From the Jefferson-Scranton CSD, I would like to thank Teresa Green and Tim Buenz who have both worked very hard to promote this effort and encourage people to vote. It has been very exciting to see everyone work together to try and achieve this goal.

As I started to write this article, we were still in 13th place and there were just under two weeks left in the campaign. As I sit down to write my article for next month, I hope to be able to write that we received $100,000 (keep your fingers crossed).
